BASE GRIND: $50

STORAGE WAX REMOVAL: $10

A base grind is crucial for restoring a flat base, fixing damage, and adding a structure pattern to enhance glide

scraping the base to remove the bulk of the wax, then using a roto brush to pull remaining wax out of the base's structure

• Maintenance Tune: This service includes base cleaning, removing burrs and hard spots, edge polishing, and infra-red hot wax application

• Full Tune: Includes all features of the maintenance tune plus a detailed edge tuning for optimal grip and glide

Base & Edge Services

• Base Repairs: Minor or major repairs to the base of your skis or snowboard, including core shots and deep gouges

• Base Grinding: A service to restore a flat and smooth base structure, essential for proper wax absorption and glide

• P-Tex Repairs: Filling of scratches and gouges in the base using P-Tex material

• Edge Repairs: Repair of damaged or bent edges

• Edge Tuning: Hand filing and de-burring of edges for a smooth, sharp, and durable finish

• Edge Grinding: Machine grinding of edges to restore the correct geometry and sharpen them

• Edge Sharpening: Fine-tuning and sharpening of edges for maximum grip and control on hardpack and ice

• Sidewall Trimming: Trimming of the sidewalls to expose more of the metal edge, allowing for a sharper edge angle

Waxing Services

• Infra-Red Hot Wax: The infrared light provides a gentle, even, and deep-reaching heat that allows the wax to be absorbed more effectively into the base. This results in a longer-lasting wax job and better gliding performance

• Storage Wax: I developed a Vacuum Storage Bag System for skis and snowboards, where the equipment is waxed, polished and then sealed in a airtight Vacuum Bag, which means your equipment is protected but also ready for immediate use should the mountains be calling, no more scraping off storage wax or worse having to get a full tune done to restore the edges

• Storage Wax Removal: Scraping off the excess wax followed by brushing to clean out the base structure

• Top Sheet Repairs: Repairing of chips, scratches, or de-lamination on the top sheet of skis and snowboards

• Top Sheet Edge Trimming: Trimming of any overhang on the top sheet to prevent chipping and improve durability
